ROOFTOP CARGO BAG INSTALLATION GUIDE

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1

PLACE BAG ON ROOF

  • Wipe any dirt and debris off the top of your vehicle.
  • Lay the non-slip protective mat onto the clean car roof.
  • Place the bag on the mat.

⚠️ Note that the zipper wraps around 3 sides of the bag - the side without a zipper needs to face toward the front of your vehicle.

  • Unzip the bag to open, and fold the opening over so it drapes over the front windshield.

STEP 2

LOAD THE BAG

  • Heavier items go on the bottom for better stability.
  • Softer items go around the edges. No sharp or pointy objects should touch the bag.
  • Aim for a slight dome shape to help water run off.

✅ Tip: Add a pillow on top to help create a dome shape.

⚠️ If bag is not fully packed, start loading from the front and pull straps tight over unfilled areas.

  • Zip from front to rear and seal the Velcro flap over the zipper.
  • Adjust the 6 skinny straps along the sides of the bag to tighten the bag around the cargo and keep everything in place.

STEP 3

ATTACH DOOR HOOKS

⏭️ SKIP THIS STEP IF USING A ROOF RACK/RAIL

Note: We give you 6 door hooks - only 4 are needed, and 2 are extra.

  • Open a vehicle door and gently peel back the rubber weatherstripping (rubber door gasket). Only peel back as much as needed to attach the hook.

⚠️ Some rubber seals are more difficult to peel back than others. Take your time and use appropriate force.

  • With the metal frame exposed, hook one of the door hooks onto the frame.
  • Push the weatherstripping back into place using hand pressure and close the door.
  • Repeat for all 4 doors.

STEP 4

SECURE THE BAG

  • Unbuckle the 4 bigger straps and pass the straps through the door hook loops OR under the roof rack/rail..
  • Re-fasten the buckle and pull the strap tight to apply tension.
  • Prevent straps from flapping in the wind by wrapping the excess strap around the vertical strap and secure it using the attached Velcro.
