We often get asked, is there a speed limit to drive with a Wild Xplorer roof bag?? The truth is that as long as you drive within the speed limit you should have no problems. You can use the bag in all sorts of conditions from rain and snow to wind and sunshine, you just need to make sure that you fit it securely as advised in the instructions.
- 4 door hooks with no inside car straps which obstruct air bags and is considered Illegal in many states
- The straps have been designed to withstand an emergency stop with a 290 pound load. However we recommend that you only fill the bag with a maximum of a 200 pound load, placing heavier items towards the side of your roof for additional safety comfort.
- Non slip roof protection mat is included. This allows you to protect your vehicle, whist you have the added benefit of knowing that the bag does not move whilst you’re driving to your destination.
- During comfort breaks, just check that you’re still happy that all hooks and straps are still tight.
- The straps have Velcro fastenings to minimize noise during driving and all you need to do is fold the straps and enjoy the journey.
